2025-03-08 Meituan General Aptitude Test 【Project Management Intern】
The general aptitude test was roughly divided into four parts: language expression, mathematics, logical reasoning, and data analysis.
The written test itself was not too difficult. Since it was for a non-technical role, there were no algorithm problems. The online testing platform felt intimidating at first, though.
Lessons Learned
- Bring scratch paper for the math section—there was too much mental arithmetic this time.
- Be very clear about what “year-over-year growth” means.
- The formal process may require camera access, screen recording, phone mini-program monitoring, and an integrity pledge.
2025-03-09 Pinduoduo Algorithm Exam 【Server R&D Intern】
This was my first algorithm test. I was not well prepared, my algorithm basics were weak, and I only solved the first easy problem out of four. It made me realize how many edge cases algorithm problems can involve.
Lessons Learned
- Bring a phone stand to film your upper body and screen if required.
- It is much easier to switch to a local IDE for answering and debugging.
- I need much more practice with ACM-style algorithm problems.
2025-03-09 Tencent Comprehensive Assessment 【Project Management Intern】
The questions focused on workplace decisions and project-conflict scenarios. It felt more like a personality assessment, and there probably were no standard answers.
Lessons Learned
None.
2024-04-23 Huawei Algorithm Exam 【General Software Development】
The algorithm questions were quite hard. The first was about finding the minimum k numbers, the second was a binary-tree variant, and the third was a shortest-path problem. All of them were beyond me at the time, so I submitted early.
Lessons Learned
None. I was in a poor mood recently and not very motivated for exams.Last modified on April 17, 2026
